Heksapod" the name of the Smart Fire Extinguisher Robot made by Himpunan Mahasiswa Elektro (HME) Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) students, Institute Of Technology at Bandung Indonesia, about year 2009 they are Ardya Dipta Nandaviri, Syawaludin Rachmatullah, and Adhi Ichwan Kurniawan. The heksapod won of the Indonesia Smart Robot Contest (KRCI) at Jogjakarta, in the future the Heksapod have a plan join contest at Trinity College, Hartford Conecticut, USA. Processor of a robot is microcontroller that send a signal to 18 servo motors in the 6 legs, each leg have 3 motors to finding a fire with a sensor, they hope heksapod can extinguishing a fire for the area that a human can't reach it.
